Fall Long Island Restaurant Week kicks off today with an event that will continue for eight days.

Restaurants from Suffolk and Nassau counties will participate, including seven on North Fork.

Fixed-price three-course meals are again offered at three price points: $ 25, $ 35, and $ 42 with a $ 20 two-course lunch in select locations.

Here’s where you can join in here on North Fork as Restaurant Week continues through Sunday, November 14.

Legends, New Suffolk ($ 42)

Legends is a regular at Long Island Restaurant Week, and it’s also one of the top picks among participating restaurants in North Fork. Start your meal with Vietnamese meatballs before moving on to crispy fried parmesan and panko encrusted swordfish. Finish with the pumpkin cheesecake. Fifteen percent off bottles of wine too!

Cooperage Inn, Baiting Hollow ($ 35)

The Cooperage Inn is another mainstay of Restaurant Week offering a varied menu of options. We love the oven-filled clams, chicken pie and chocolate cappuccino mousse cake.

Farm Country Kitchen, by far one of North Fork’s best restaurants with an underrated view of the Peconic River, also participates. Start with the prepared shashimi-style tuna, move on to the hanging steak, and perfect the night with the homemade bread pudding. If you’re in the mood for splurging, grab the New Zealand Lamb Chops for an extra $ 20.

Jamesport Manor Inn, Jamesport ($ 35)

The Jamesport Manor Inn has an upscale setting in a historic mansion, but it’s also very accessible. The Maple Bourbon Butternut Squash Soup Shooter is something you won’t find anywhere else on the appetizer menu this week. Serve with grilled pork tenderloin medallions as a starter and chocolate pie for dessert.

On the docks, Aquebogue ($ 35)

Formerly Phil’s Waterfront, On the Docks is a great place to dine by a cove. We recommend the Long Island Duck Wings, Roasted Squash Branzino, and s’mores Cream Jar for dessert.

The Preston House and Hotel, Riverhead ($ 35)

A high-quality, three-course Riverhead restaurant for $ 35, The Preston House is one of those restaurant week spots where you can really maximize your value – eat an upscale meal at a discounted price in beautiful surroundings. . Start with spicy tom yum ramen, followed by Buffalo short rib papperdelle and eggnog panna cotta for dessert. You can also add food and wine pairings for $ 20 per person.

While the menu was not yet available for Bistro 72 at the Indigo Hotel in Riverhead, we do know that they will be offering the $ 20 lunch option in addition to the $ 35 dinners. Its location inside a hotel might be a reason you’ve never been, but that would be a mistake. We have enjoyed every meal here and it is also a great place to have a drink.
