Nottingham-based web design agency Strafe Creative has won four design awards for one of its client projects – Tobacco Dock.
Earlier this year, Strafe was approached by Tobacco Dock, a London-based events space, to create his new online presence. The site has been live since late August and has now been criticized by Strafe’s peers within the digital design community at the CSS Design Awards.
Designers, coders and creators around the world have judged the website and awarded Strafe the top accolade in four design categories – Best Innovation, Best User Experience, Best User Interface and a special Kudos award as well.
Ross Davies, Managing Director of Strafe Creative, said: “We are proud of our work with Tobacco Dock and know that the new site is already having a positive impact on their business, which is fundamental to all of our work. Having secured the project following a competitive pitch process has been a great result for the team and now our work is being received so positively by the design community is extremely satisfying. The Strafe team did a great job!
Karolina Chmielarska, Marketing Manager at Tobacco Dock, said: “I couldn’t be more pleased with our new site. It clearly indicates what our (sometimes complex) proposition is and provides a lot of information in a visually appealing and easy to find way. We’ve also received very positive feedback from a multitude of customers and stakeholders, so it’s great to hear that the site has now won four design awards as well.
Strafe Creative will soon be opening an office in London and a new headquarters in Nottingham.
